What Is Self-Storage?

Self-Storage, also known as mini-storage, storage lockers, or storage units provide an easy, secure and flexible storage solution for your possessions. Our storage center allows you to only pay for the space that you need, and for time that you use it. Our clean, dry and secure storage rooms are ideal when you are moving, or need more space at your existing property.

Can I move in today?
Certainly! We recommend that you call ahead to ensure that we have an available unit in your size.

Is the facility a public storage – can anybody drive onto this property or do you need an access code?
Gladwin Self Storage features an electronic gate system with only a single entry / exit, which can only be opened by a security code that is assigned to each tenant. The code allows us to monitor who is entering and exiting the facility.

What is a roll-up door?
Roll-up doors are the most popular door in self-storage. These doors save space by rolling up, and not into the unit. The doors are accessed by removing the lock, and sliding the security latch allowing you to lift the door.

How do I lock the unit?
You can purchase a new lock at Gladwin Self Storage, or use your own. We recommend the use of high security disc locks to ensure the highest level of security.

What is a drive-up unit?
Gladwin Self Storage features a wide range of unit sizes for drive-up access. A drive-up unit allows you to load and unload directly from your vehicle or truck.
