- Remember to remove all perishable food from cabinets
- Turn off the refrigerator
- Verify all power sources are off
- Remove all food from the refrigerator, and clean the inside of it. Make sure to leave the door open to ventilate
- Clean rooftop air conditioner filters and cover the outside unit
- Pull the shades and close the blinds on all windows
- Turn off the propane cylinders and cover the regulator
- Ensure all roof vents and windows are closed
- Check that all tires are fully inflated
- Inspect the roof, body, interior, soft molding and caulking for any possible leaks
- Service locks with spray lubricant to prevent rust and freezing
- Check all operating fluid levels under the hood and top off the gasoline tank
- Empty and thoroughly rinse all holding tanks
- For long term storage, cover or tape the vents to the furnace and range hood
